Generac Error Code 2000 — Low Battery Fix
What it means: The Evolution controller measured battery terminal voltage below 11.5V. The controller will not attempt to start the generator with low battery voltage — it risks a failed start or controller damage from voltage sag during cranking.
This code usually appears after the generator has been in standby for weeks without starting, or after the battery has aged past its useful life.

2. Load Test
Batteries fail under load. A battery that reads 12.6V at rest can drop below 10V during cranking and cause all kinds of intermittent codes. 3. Clean Battery Terminals

4. Test the Battery Charger Board
