A Bosch refrigerator water dispenser that stops working is not tied to a single fault code. Instead, it is a symptom that points to a blockage or failure somewhere in the water delivery chain. The path runs from your house supply through a shutoff valve, a supply line, an inlet valve, a filter, and finally to the dispenser reservoir and tube. Any restriction or electrical failure in that sequence will stop water flow at the dispenser paddle.

Bosch service data shows the most common field failures are insufficient supply pressure, a clogged or incorrectly seated water filter, a frozen reservoir tube, a kinked supply line, or a failed inlet valve.   3. Disconnect the supply line at the inlet valve and direct it into a bucket, then open the shutoff valve to test flow. A weak stream points to low pressure or a restricted supply line upstream.
  4. Check house water pressure with a gauge. The inlet valve needs at least 20 psi to function correctly.
  5. Replace the water filter if it is older than six months or suspect, and confirm the new filter is seated correctly in its housing.
  6. Hold the dispenser paddle down for up to three minutes to purge air from the reservoir and refill the system after filter replacement.
  7. Inspect the water tube and reservoir in the freezer compartment for ice blockage. If frozen, thaw carefully with warm air and investigate the underlying cause, usually low pressure or a leaking inlet valve.
  8. Test the inlet valve solenoid coils for continuity with a multimeter. Replace the valve assembly if any coil is open or shows no continuity.
  9. Check the dispenser paddle switch and door switch for continuity and proper operation. Replace any switch that fails the test.
