What This Error Means
LG washers monitor drum vibration during the spin ramp-up. If the imbalance is too great, the machine slows down, adds a small amount of water to loosen the load, and tries to redistribute. After three failed attempts, it stops and displays UE.

Remove some items if overfilled. If the drum was packed, pull out about 20% of the load and rewash it separately.

Check the machine is level. With the machine running a spin cycle, watch it from the side. If it rocks or “walks” across the floor, level it.
