In the Siemens SINAMICS S120 (or 611D on older machines) drive system, this alarm means the actual motor current exceeded the drive’s maximum current limit. The drive protects its IGBTs by shutting down immediately when overcurrent is detected, generating alarm 25201 on the NCK (Numerical Control Kernel).
