E61 — Insufficient Heating

The dryer is running but not getting hot enough to dry clothes in the expected time.

Causes and fixes:

  1. Clogged lint filter — clean it before every single load. A clogged filter is the #1 cause of heating problems.
  2. Blocked exhaust duct — disconnect the exhaust hose and check for lint buildup. A blocked duct traps moisture and heat together, reducing effective heat transfer.
